-Sterilisation
Sterilisation in an autoclave conforming to: EN 13060, EN ISO
17665-1
CAUTION!
- Follow the instructions of the autoclave manufacturer.
- Clean, disinfect and lubricate the handpiece before sterilisation. The
presence of blood residues on the external or internal surfaces can lead
to the formation of corrosion.
- Make sure that the handpiece is properly dried after sterilisation.
Authorised sterilisation procedures
1) Seal the handpiece and its accessories in sterilisation bags
conforming to EN 868-5.
2) Sterilise the bagged handpiece in an autoclave according to EN ISO
17665-1 standard and respect the following conditions:
- Class B steam sterilisation in autoclaves conforming to EN 13060
standard. Sterilisation time at least 3.5 minutes at 135 °C.
3) Remove the bag from the autoclave.
