Welding
Start process by pressing the Start/Stop
with the parameters previously set in the memory. The controller sounds an acoustic signal
when a new temperature step starts (only if the setting contains several temperature steps).
Three short acoustic sounds indicate the end of the process. An alarm, if the alarm was set,
has long acoustic sounds and ends at the latest after 30 seconds automatically or after pres-
sing the key Confirmation/OK
The welding process can be interrupted manually by shortly pressing the key Start/Stop
If the platen temperature is higher than the setting for the final temperature the cooling pro-
cess will start.
Alternatively you may stop a running welding process by pressing Start/Stop
In this case the process will be totally stopped without cooling.
When fully stopping a welding process (
switch-off because of overheating of the control system the press is not cooled! Depending on
when the process is stopped the heating platens of the press and potentially also an inserted
splice may be extremely hot. Ensure that the press cools down sufficiently before opening it.
