3. Installation and start-up

Check whether the voltage of the socket outlet is the same as the voltage given on the device
identification plate. The chiller can only be connected to a network with ground connection.
The chiller can only be operated for temperatures ranging between +15°C and +32°C.
1. Make sure that the Chiller RC10 is leveled, placed on a solid ground
2. Close the drain tap (Picture 1).*

3. Connect the in- and out-valves of the RC 10 with the external device. Only use hoses which
can withstand at least temperatures of -10°C and pressure of 1 bar and secure these with the
hose clamps (enclosed).
4. Fill in the coolant using the opening on top of the Chiller (Picture 2). The coolant cycle should
be filled up to the maximum level indication. The ball should be on the maximum mark (Picture
3).
Water must not be used as a cooling medium for temperatures below + 5°C. In case of
operating temperatures below + 5°C please use a water-glycol mixture. We recommend a
mixture of water and glycol (70-30), which does not freeze until -15°C.
