4. CLEANING FLOORS
Before using the appliance on delicate surfaces, ensure that
the part in contact with the surface is free from foreign bodies
that could cause scratches.
4.1 Make sure that Chapter 1 has been followed and connect
the accessories as indicated in Chapter 2.
4.2 Connect the extension tubes to the steam hose and the floor
brush to the extension tubes.
4.3 Attach the supplied cloth to the floor brush, locking it in
place with the special lever hooks (8).
4.4 Adjust the intensity of the steam by turning the adjustment
knob; for this type of surface we recommend Medium level steam
(5).
4.5 Deactivate the steam lock (6) and continue with steam
delivery, pressing the steam trigger on the handle of the steam
hose (6).
4.6 Clean the floors by moving the brush.
Before removing the cloth from the brush, wait a few minutes
to allow the cloth to cool.
WARNING: Do not use the appliance without the cloth.
WARNING: For additional safety, test steam delivery on a
hidden part, leave the steamed part to dry to ensure that no
changes in colour or deformations have occurred.
5. CLEANING RUGS AND CARPETS
WARNING: Before cleaning fabrics with steam, consult the
manufacturer's instructions and always carry out a test on a
hidden part or on a sample of the material. Allow the steamed
part to dry to make sure that no changes in colour or
deformations have occurred.
5.1 Make sure that Chapter 1 has been followed and connect the
accessories as indicated in Chapter 2.
5.2 Connect the extension tubes to the steam hose and the floor
brush to the extension tubes.
5.3 Adjust the intensity of the steam by turning the adjustment
knob (5); for this type of surface we recommend Medium level of
steam.
5.4 Deactivate the steam lock (6) and continue with steam
delivery, pressing the steam trigger on the handle of the steam
hose (6).
5.5 Pass the brush without cloth over the surface to bring dirt
to the surface.
5.6 Attach the supplied cloth to the floor brush, locking it in
place with the special lever hooks (8).
5.7 Go back over the surface to collect the dirt.
Before removing the cloth from the brush, wait a few minutes
to allow the cloth to cool.
6. CLEANING GLASS, WINDOWS AND TILES
WARNING: To clean glass surfaces during cold weather,
preheat the windows starting to vacuum from a distance of
about 50 cm from the surface.
6.1 Make sure that Chapter 1 has been followed and connect the
accessories as indicated in Chapter 2.
6.2 Adjust the intensity of the steam by turning the adjustment
knob (5); for this type of surface we recommend Medium level of
steam.
6.3 Ensure that the steam lock on the handle is deactivated (6).
6.4 Press and hold the steam trigger on the handle of the steam
hose (6) and steam the surface thoroughly to dissolve the dirt.
6.5 For the Pro90_Turbo model go back over the surface with
the window cleaner to remove the dirt, without steaming. For
a more abrasive action and more effective dirt removal, the
bristles supplied with the window-cleaning accessory can be
used
For the Pro80 model use the manual window-cleaning
accessory to remove the dirt dissolved by the steam.
7. CLEANING UPHOLSTERY
(mattresses, sofas, car interiors, etc.)
WARNING: Before cleaning leather or fabrics with steam,
consult the manufacturer's instructions and always carry out a
test on a hidden part or on a sample of the material. Allow the
steamed part to dry to make sure that no changes in colour or
deformations have occurred.
7.1 Make sure that Chapter 1 has been followed and connect the
accessories as indicated in Chapter 2.
7.2 Connect the small brush to the hose.
7.3 Attach the cap to the small brush.
7.4 Adjust the intensity of the steam by turning the adjustment
knob (5); for this type of surface we recommend Minimum level
of steam.
7.5 Ensure that the steam lock on the handle is deactivated (6).
7.6 Press and hold the steam trigger on the handle of the steam
hose (6) and pass over the surface.
8. CLEANING FURNITURE AND DELICATE
SURFACES
WARNING: Do not direct the steam jet directly onto surfaces.
Before cleaning the surface, always do a test on a hidden part
and see how it reacts to the application of steam.
8.1 Ensure that Chapter 1 has been followed.
8.2 Adjust the intensity of the steam by turning the adjustment
knob (5); for this type of surface we recommend Minimum level
of steam.
8.3 Ensure that the steam lock on the handle is deactivated (6).
8.4 Press and hold the steam lever on the handle of the steam
hose (6) and direct the jet onto a cloth.
