3. Description of product and
contents
3.1. Inspection on delivery
All B+B products are inspected before they leave our factory and the
CE mark is applied.
The B+B commode chairs are delivered in a special box. The product is
delivered and instruction in its use is given by a qualified specialized
dealer.
If the product is delivered by rail or road transport it must be
inspected for shipping damage in the presence of the delivery person.
If any damage is found, please note the following:
•
record the facts
•
prepare a declaration of assignment; all claims resulting from the
damage are assigned to the delivery company
•
return the record of facts, consignment note and declaration of
assignment to Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH.
In the event of shipping damage...
•
Leave the goods and packaging undisturbed and do not use the
goods.
•
Report the damage to the transport company in writing as
instructed below.
•
Contact our customer service +49 (0)700/6000 7070.
•
A representative of the transport company must be informed of any
damage without delay in order to make a claim for compensation.

Externally obvious damage or losses must be confirmed in writing
on consignment note by the delivery person before accepting the
package.
Concealed damage that it not obvious until the package is opened
must be reported immediately in writing to the transport company.
All deadlines must be met:
•
courier service and post within 24 hours
•
rail delivery within 7 days
•
road transport within 4 days
after receipt of the package.
Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH will require the original consignment note
with confirmation of damage.
Compensation from the insurer is not possible without these
documents.
3.2. Contents
