INSTALLING THE WHEELS
See Figure 4.
Use the wheel assembly to transport the unit to and from
the work area. To install:
Remove the washer and hitch pin from the left side of the
axle.
Remove the end cap from the wheel.
Place the wheel on the axle.
Slide the washer onto the axle until it touches the wheel.

To fold handle assembly:
Loosen the knobs on the upper handle.
Fold the upper handle down and back onto the lower

the upper handle.
Tighten the knobs on the upper handle, to secure it in
place.
WARNING:
Be certain the knobs are fully tightened before operating
equipment; check them periodically for tightness during
use to avoid serious personal injury.
CHANGING WHEEL POSITIONS
See Figures 7 - 9.
The wheel position of the unit is adjustable. Adjust the
position of the wheels by placing the pin on the wheel
assembly into different holes on the bracket.
CAUTION:
The wheel assembly is spring loaded. Be careful to avoid
pinching your fingers or hands when adjusting the wheel
position.
From the rear of the cultivator, pull the pin on the wheel
assembly away from the bracket.
NOTE: The spring-loaded pin will snap forward if released.
Slowly bring the wheel assembly toward the desired hole
on the bracket and seat the pin on the wheel assembly
into the hole on the bracket.
• Place the wheel assembly into the top hole (position
A) to transport the cultivator or for shallow cultivating.
• Place the wheel assembly into the middle hole
(position B) for general cultivating with moderate
surface penetration.
• Place the wheel assembly into the bottom hole
(position C) to allow deep penetration of the tine blades
into the cultivating surface.
