8. Maintenance
8.1 Monitoring the battery status
If 3 long signal tones sound before flushing occurs, the battery charge level is low. After this hap-
pens, a maximum of 50 – 100 further flushes can occur.
> Replace the battery as soon as possible.
If 3 long signal tones sound during use and flushing does not occur, the battery is empty.
> Replace the battery immediately.
A diagram can be found at the end of this document - figures
8.2 Conducting a system diagnosis (S3)
If there is no flushing or reduced flushing, you can conduct a system diagnosis to find the fault.
Refer to page 2 for a diagram showing the signal sequence
> Hold the magnetic key in front of the right-hand sensor.
Within approx. 3 seconds, several short signals will sound. Then 5 long signals will sound.
> Remove the magnetic key.
2 short signal tones will sound to confirm the system diagnosis.
The following diagnosis results can occur:
Signal
Flushing and
1 signal tone
2 long signal tones
without flushing
3 long signal tones
without flushing
Once the system diagnosis is complete, 2 short signal tones will sound and the chosen flushing
programme will be reactivated. Depending on the results of the system diagnosis, the electronic
urinal will then be ready for use.
9. Disposal
In accordance with WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electron-
ic equipment, this symbol indicates that the product must not be disposed of with
residual waste. Waste electrical and electronic equipment can contain harmful sub-
stances and must be disposed of properly.
> Bring the product to a special collection point for recycling waste electrical and electronic
equipment. For further information, contact your distributor or your responsible authorities.
> Only take batteries to the disposal point when they are fully discharged or after you have pro-
tected them against short circuiting (e.g. by covering the poles with tape).
> Keep the packaging until the warranty period expires.
> Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly way.
