allow you to set up the parameters to let the equipment work
correctly (fig. 9).
In working mode, the display shows the time, the day, and
the days for scheduled regenerations. During regeneration, it
shows the remaining time until completion and which phase it
is currently performing (fig.20).
5.2 TURNING ON THE EQUIPMENT
Plug in the equipment and connect the connector to the timer
(fig. 6, G). The display (fig. 9, E) will show the time.
5.3 SETTING THE DAY AND TIME
1. Press N . The display will flash.
ih
2. Using the
buttons, set the current time (fig. 11).
3. Press N to confirm.
A small triangle indicating the day will appear on the higher
part of the display (fig. 12).
1. Press N to make the small triangle flash.
ih
2. Using the
buttons to the current day (fig. 13).
3. Press N to confirm.
5.4 SETTING THE REGENERATION TIME
On the left side of the display, a amall triangle will point to the
words ("Regen time").
1. Press N . The display will flash.
ih
2. Using the
buttons, select the regeneration time (fig.
14).
3. Press N to confirm.
5.5 SETTING REGENERATION DAY
Below the writing DAYS, the display will show a figure and a
little triangle (fig. 15).
It is possible to set the amount of days to elapse before the
valve will regenerate the resins.
If number 3 is inserted like in the example, it means that
maximum 3 days will elapse, and then a regeneration will be

VOLUMETRIC
performed, regardless of water consumption.
1) Press N and the display will flash.
2) Press the buttons
before regeneration. Values go from 0.5 to 99.
The value 0.5 means that two regenerations a day will be
performed, one every 12 hours. For example, if "regene-
ration time" (see paragraph 9.4) is set at 17, the following
regeneration will be performed at 5 a.m.
The other values go from 1 (one regeneration a day) to 99
(one regeneration every 99 days).
Press N to confirm.
5.6 MEASURING OUT SALT FOR REGENERATION
fig.11
The value "salt amount" determines the regeneration time and
the associated salt dose.
The value is set by the manufacturer and must be modified
under the installer supervision.
1) After setting the regeneration days, a letter ("S", "L" or "H")
will appear on the display.
2) Press N and the display will flash.
3) Using the buttons
4) Press N to confirm.

5.7 ESTIMATED CAPACITY
When the value of the regeneration level (L, S, H) is inserted,
fig. 13
the electronic control will calculate the limescale amount that
the water softener will be able to trap before a resin regenera-
tion is required (fig. 18).
For example: the value .3 Kg indicates that resin will be able
to trap 0.3 Kg, that is 300 grams of CaCO
a regeneration is needed.
We advise you not to modify this datum. To modify the esti-

mated capacity, follow the instructions below:
1) press N and the display will flash
2) using the buttons
3) Press N to confirm.
5.8 SETTING WATER HARDNESS
1) press N and the display will flash
2) using the buttons
fig. 15
Note: the hardness is expressed in ppm of CaCO 3 so the
values to insert are the following: 20°f = 200 ; 30°f = 300 ;
40°f = 400 ; 50°f = 500 ; 60°f = 600;
3) press N to confirm.
