MAINTENANCE

To keep your machine under high work efficient condition and elongate its life, proper and careful maintenance
is important. The maintenance work is far smaller than the repair work relevant to the troubles caused by
neglecting the instructions in this manual. The operator and maintenance man must keep this manual at hand
and make use of it.

8.1 CLEANING THE MACHINE

Clean the machine at least once a week. When the machine is used for pavement with clay, cement and
emulsion, clean it every day.

8.2 CHECKING BOLTS/NUTS

Check the bolts after the first 25 operation hours. Then, check them every 50 operation hours. If a bolt is
loosened, retighten it.

8.3 CHECKING V BELT

It is not necessary to adjust the vibration v belt. the
tension pulley is automatically stretched. When the V
belt is completely fatigued, replace it with a new one.
Before starting the machine, check the V belt, tension pulley, etc. under the engine stop condition. If you
touch these parts while the engine is starting, you will be injured. Do not touch them in such a condition.
