Troubleshooting guide

Error
No output voltage.
Alarm sounds during
operation.
Unit switches on/off
frequently.
When turning on the
equipm ent the
inverter switches off.
Possible cause
1. Cigarette lighter is
turned off via the
ignition.
2. Battery voltage lower
than 10.5V (12V
version) or 20V (24V
version).
3. Thermal overload.
4. Defective fuse either
within the inverter or
the car fuse.
1. The battery voltage is
below 10.7V (12V
version) or 21V (24V
version).
2. Bad contact in the
ciagerette lighter
socket under load
condition.
1. Max. load is too high.
1. Initial load current too
high.
Correction
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Charge the battery (start the
engine).
3. Switch off the equipment.
Cool down the inverter and
improve air circulation.
4. Inverter: Replace fuse by
authorised service
personnel only.
Car: Replace fuse.
1. Charge the battery.
2. Clean the contacts.
1. Reduce the load.
Check power specification.
1. Verify with the max. power
of the inverter.
