6.2 Electronic exchange indicator „Easy-Control" - Model A
The „Easy-Control" counts the number of
fillings and the service life and reminds you
of the filter cartridge change by flashing
in the display. If the filter cartridge is not
changed, the „Easy-Control" still continues
to count the subsequent fillings. By filling or
by pressing the „Easy-Control" button once,
the current number of fillings is shown.
In the electronic exchange indicator an
average filter capacity is programmed
depending on the BWT water filtering
system used:
B WT water filtering system with
Gourmet (oval) filter cartridge:
120 litres
B WT water filtering system with
Gourmet (round) filter cartridge:
100 litres
Please observe that the „Easy-Control" indicates the number of fillings (the volume of
the funnel varies depending on the BWT water filtering system) and not the filtered
number of litres. See the above table.
A change of the filter cartridge should be carried out at the latest after 4 weeks, even if
if the capacity (number of fillings) of the filter cartridge has not yet been reached. This
is indicated by flashing of the „Easy-Control" display.
The „Easy-Control" is designed for a service life more than 3.5 years.
In the event of your „Easy-Control" being defective, please contact our service team.
We will be happy to replace the detective electronics for you.
