4 Set up
- Before first use, the battery must
be charged. For further use
a charging time of approximately 1 hour suffices.
- Before charging ensure that the mains
voltage matches the specifications on the nameplate
of the charger.
- To charge the battery, remove from the handle of
the device and place in the
charger.
- The charging process is started automatically.
- The red diode ON indicates that the battery
is being charged.
- The green diode OFF indicates that
charging has finished.
- Filling with grease cartridges:
Only use standard (DIN 1284) 400g grease
cartridges.
- Filling with fill-device:
Set up the press with filling nipple on the fill-device.
During filling of the grease gun, keep pressed down.
- After that, insert the piston rod again completely into the tubular body of
the grease container.
- After filling of the grease gun at the filling nipple or at the
grease container, vent through a slight opening (1-1 ½ turns),
until bubble-free grease emerges.
- The grease gun is now operational.
- Press the START button until grease emerges from the
nozzle.
- If the max. operating pressure of about 400 bar is exceeded, the relief valve
opens and allows the grease to escape outside.
Break off the lubrication process and establish the reason for the high
pressure build-up. It could, for example, be that the lubrication nipple,
the lubrication line or the depository is damaged or clogged.
- The temperature of the battery raises during use. Before
recharging the battery, leave to cool to room temperature,
otherwise it will not charge.

Maintenance and care:

The high-performance battery grease gun works maintenance free.
Regularly check the pressure-bearing components (high pressure hose) and the current-carrying
components (charger) for any damage or wear.
Defective parts must be replaced immediately with genuine parts.
Store Li-ion battery only in a fully charged state for a long time.

Type specification, designation of the ET, order number
The following maintenance deadlines should be strictly observed to ensure trouble-free
operation.
