Phone software update
Update your smart phone without a PC (FOTA)
This feature allows you to conveniently update your phone's software to a newer
version via Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA), without connecting to a PC with a USB
cable.
1 From the Home screen, tap
About phone > Update Center > Software Update.
2 Select the desired option.
Update now – You can check the new software update and conduct the
update.
Check current version – You can check the current software version.
Last update – Displays the date of the last software update.
NOTE:
After the download is complete, you can install the software
immediately or select a later time for the installation.
Each software version is updated sequentially. Even after the update is
completed, check if there is any newer version available.
LG reserves the right to make firmware updates available only for
selected models at its own discretion and does not guarantee the
availability of the newer version of the firmware for all phone models.
