MAINTENANCE
Carry out periodic analysis of the
exhaust combustion gas, checking
the emissions.
Periodically replace the gas fi lter
when dirty.
Check that all the components of
the combustion head are in a good
state, not deformed by the tempe-
rature and free from impurities or
deposits from the installation en-
vironment or by poor combustion
and check also the electrodes are
working effi ciently.
If the combustion head needs to be
cleaned, remove the components
following the procedure indicated
below:
Unscrew the two screws (2) and
turn the burner around the pin (1) in
the hinge (fi gure 1).
After pulling out the ignition and io-
nisation cables (3) from the termi-
nals of the respective electrodes,
unscrew completely the nut (4) and
tighten the screw (5), causing it
to move forward inside gas outlet
connector (8) in fi gure 3 to a suffi -
cient amount to ensure successful
disassembly of the mixing unit.
With the same wrench turn the ball
joint (6) in the direction indicated
with the arrow, unhooking the lever
that moves the combustion head
forward (fi gure 2).
Slacken, by means of a socket head
screw of 3 mm (a) the M6 screw (b)
that secures the air pressure pipe
(c) inside the tube unit and then re-
move it from its position.
Slightly raise the gas outlet con-
nector (8) (fi gure 3). and pull out
the whole mixing assembly in the
direction indicated by the arrow (9)
in fi gure 4. Complete maintenance
operations, proceed with re-as-
sembly of the combustion head,
following the above instructions in
reverse order, after having chec-
ked the correct position of the igni-
tion and ionisation electrodes (see
0002934690).
Note: important
On closing the burner, gently pull
towards the electrical panel, put-
ting them slightly in tension, the
two ignition and ionisation cables,
and then arrange them in their
places (7) as in fi gure 2. This will
ensure that the two cables do not
get damaged by the fan during
the working of the burner.
