Placing the XM3120 system
1. Connect and position the XM Radio home antenna
by inserting the antenna connector into the antenna
input on the rear of the XM3120 system. Make sure
the antenna points south outdoors through a
window.
2. Position the XM3120 system on a level surface,
preferably close to you (within three feet) and
within 20 feet of the XM Radio home antenna.

Making Connections
To ensure first-time operation as expected, please
carefully follow the connection sequences described
below in the order indicated.
1. Place the appropriate XM docking adapter inside
the docking bay. Docking adapters are labeled for
XM receiver identification.
2. Place your XM receiver inside the docking adapter.
3. Insert the barrel connector from the power supply
into the DC connector on the rear of the XM3120
system. After this connection is made, insert the
power supply into a wall outlet.
4. The XM3120 system is now on stand-by mode and
a red LED should be lit.
Start Playing
Turn on your XM receiver. The XM3120 system is now
ready to play and a green LED should be lit.
Volume
The VOLUME knob on the XM3120 speaker system
controls the master volume. Turn the knob clockwise to
increase the volume and counterclockwise to decrease
the volume. Master volume can also be controlled using
your XM receiver's wireless remote, if available.
Wireless Remote-compatible
When the XM receiver is docked, you can use your XM
wireless remote to control the XM3120 speaker system
volume (remote not included.) Simply point your wireless
remote at the XM receiver to control volume and other
XM functions.
