If longer girders or profiles are to be transported, two clamps may be used to prevent load
sway. Select the attachment gear to be used so that the lateral inclination angle does not
exceed 15°. If the application requires a larger distance of the clamps, a suitable spreader
beam must be used.
Two-legged lifting gear is only suitable for small plates with low weights, for which sway during
transport can be compensated by hand. When attaching the load lifting attachment, it must be
ensured that the centre of gravity of the load is in the middle between the load lifting
attachments so that no inclined position is caused. The load lifting attachment must be
arranged on the load in such a way that the inclination angle of the load lifting attachment
does not exceed 30° in the direction of the mouth opening and 45° in the opposite direction.
Always transport the load slowly, carefully and close to the ground.
Make sure that when depositing the load, the crane hook does not press against the load
lifting attachment. The weight of the crane hook could lead to opening of the load lifting
attachment.
Only use crane hooks with a safety latch.
The suspension eye of the load lifting attachment must have sufficient space in the crane hook
and be freely articulating.
In the case of malfunctions, stop using the load lifting attachment immediately.
