TURNING THE APPLIANCE ON AND OFF
Turning on
• Connect the plug to the socket.
• Press the switch.
The twitch, often noisy and irregular, that is felt when the appliance
is switched on, is due to the engine starting. This twitch, as well as a
light heating up or a moderate vibration of the unit, does not indicate
the presence of problems.
Turning off
• Press the switch.
• Do not pull the cord or the appliance to disconnect the power cord from the
mains socket.
USEFUL TIPS FOR CUTTING
• Wash the hair as usual, dry and brush it in the direction of growth to untangle any knots.
• After drying, do not use hairspray, mousse or gel.
• Start with the larger size distance comb D (fig. 1), and gradually reduce the size
until you get the desired result.
• For best results, use the appliance against the direction of hair growth.
• If hair starts to clog the adjustable guide comb, remove the comb from the
appliance (see par. "Removing the adjustable guide comb") and clean away
the hair (blow and/or brush it out).
