Replacement of Filter
- Turn the nosepiece counter clockwise until the nosepiece is separated from the pipettor.
Remove the filter from the silicone pipette holder and the filter tube. Dispose of the
filter and replace with a fresh one.
- The filter should be replaced every three months or when the filter is contaminated by
liquid or the suction capacity is slowed. Note: Only use Omega Plus replacement
filters to guarantee a proper seal.

*Never operate the Omega Plus Pipettor without a filter.
Cleaning and Care
The Omega Plus Pipettor can be cleaned with most common laboratory disinfectants,
including isopropanol. Never use aggressive organic solvents.
The nosepiece can be autoclaved at 121°C, with the exception of the filter. Follow the
procedure under "Replacing the Filter" to remove the filter prior to sterilization. No other
portions of the unit are autoclavable.
