Electrical safety
The electric motor was designed for a single
voltage.
Always check whether the battery voltage mat-
ches the voltage on the type plate. Ensure that the
voltage of your charger, corresponds to the mains
voltage.
In accordance with EN60335, your Würth char-
ger is double
insulated. Therefore, it does not require earthing.
If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by a specially equipped cable which
is available from the Würth customer service
organisation.
When replacing the mains cable ensure that you
use the correct mains plug for your country of use.
Type 11 for class II (double-insulated) – device
Type 12 for class I (protective conductor) – device
Mobile devices, while are being used outdoors,
must be connected via a residual current circuit
breaker.
Use of an extension cable
An extension cable should be used only if it is
absolutely necessary. Use an approved extension
cable that is suitable for the power consumption of
your charger (see Technical Data). The minimum
cross-section of the conductors is 1 mm² and maxi-
mum length is 30 m.
If you use a cable drum, completely unwind the
cable.

Safety instructions
Explosion hazard:
Never throw batteries in the fire.
Fire hazard
Only charge batteries in well ventilated
dust-free locations at temperatures between
0°C and 40°C. If the ambient temperature
is below 0°C to 40°C, charging may not be
permissible and could result in a fire.
Metal objects can bridge the battery contacts
and cause a short-circuit. Only store the bat-
tery with the safety cap in place.
After charging, disconnect the mains cable
from the power supply.
Do not cover the charger and the battery
during charging and do not expose these
components to high temperatures, for example
due to direct sunlight.
Never charge the battery close to a fire or
easily flammable materials/liquids (thinners,
paint, varnish, petrol).
Never connect the mains cable to a trans-
former, current generator, etc.
Risk of electric shock:
Never charge batteries in the rain or in the
vicinity of water splashes. Protect battery and
battery charger against moisture.
Keep the mains cable free from oil and
grease.
Before connecting the power supply:
• Check the mains voltage, see Technical
• Do not touch the mains plug with wet or
