WARNING
Always disconnect the mains plug
before inserting or removing the halo-
gen lamp!
As halogen lamps heat up very much during oper-
ation, let the lamp first cool down after operation of
the unit (minimum cooling down time 15 minutes)
before replacing it.
Never operate the unit without lamp compartment
cover. Looking directly into the lit lamp may cause
eye damage due to the high brightness and the UV
radiation.
1) Unscrew the screw (4) for the lamp compartment
cover. Remove the cover. The lamp support is in
the compartment (fig. 3).
2) Insert the halogen lamp into the support and push
on the lamp connection (fig. 4). Pay attention that
the lamp is centred in the support.
3) Reposition the cover with the lateral holes on the
two supporting screws (5) and tighten it with the
screw (4).
5 Mounting
The unit can be placed on a firm, even, heat-resistant
surface. However, it can also be suspended from a
crossbar via its mounting bracket (2).
IMPORTANT
Always place the unit so that a sufficient air ventila-
tion is ensured during operation.
The unit must have a minimum distance of 50 cm
to adjoining surfaces and the air vents at the hous-
ing must not be covered in any case.
Pay in any case attention to a sufficient distance to
easily flammable material or material sensitive to
heat.
To align the unit, release the two setscrews (1) at the
mounting bracket. Adjust the desired inclination of the
unit and retighten the screws.
WARNING
The unit must be mounted in a safe
and expert way. If it is installed as a
suspended load above persons, it
must additionally be secured (e. g. by
a safety rope at the mounting bracket;
fix the safety rope in such a way that
the maximum falling distance of the
unit is 20 cm).
6 Operation
Connect the mains cable to the mains jack (6) and the
mains plug to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz). Thus,

ed to connect the unit to a mains socket which can be
switched on and off via a light switch.
6.1 Operating mode for the reflector wheel
The operating mode for the reflector wheel can be se-
lected via a switch:
microphone (9), set the selector switch (8) to position
"II". If the music is reproduced with a clear rhythm in
the bass range at sufficient volume, the rotation of the
reflector wheel is synchronized to the beat of the
music. During this process also the directions will be
changed. For continuous rotation of the reflector wheel
independent of the music, set the selector switch to
position "I". The reflector wheel stands still in the
switch position "O".

6.2 Focus setting

By turning the lens (3) clockwise or counter-clockwise,
adjust the focal length so that the presentation on the
projected area obtains the desired sharpness.

7 Cleaning of the Optical System

The lens, the mirror on the reflector wheel, and the
structural glass panes should be cleaned at regular
intervals, depending on impurities caused by dust,
smoke, or other particles. Only in this case the light
can be radiated at maximum brightness. Prior to open-
ing the unit, disconnect the plug from the mains socket
and let the unit cool down for 15 minutes.
cial detergent for glass. Then carefully wipe the parts
dry.
