Quick Assembly
Lift the chain up by the inner chain, pull backwards over the
1
tire and distribute evenly to cover the whole tire.
Drive onto the chain by approx. ¼ of a wheel's turn.
2
Complete the mounting process as outlined in points 3 to 6 (see
"Mounting" below).
Mounting
Spread out the chain in front of or behind the tire and arrange
1
neatly (depending on the space, the chain may have to be
bunched together). Tension lever, tension spring and tension
chain must face outwards! Place mounting cable at an angle
across the top half of the tire. Hook anti-skid chain into
mounting hook.
Drive slowly onto the chain to complete one full turn of the
2
wheel. This will pull the chain onto the tire. Loosen anti-skid
chain by unhooking the rings and/or mounting hook. Remove
mounting cable.
Connect the side chain on the inside of the wheel first and
3
a/b
hook the closure hook into the ring. Then hook it to the outside
of the tire. Note: Please ensure that the strands of the chain
are not twisted!
Connect the attachment links for the tread net.
3
c/d
Tighten tension chain on the outside of the wheel and insert
4
tension lever into the nearest link of the tension chain. Secure
tension lever with the ring.
Hang loose chain end into the side chain using the tension
5
hook.
The chain is now fully assembled.

E
Note: After driving a short distance (50 - 100 m or 150 - 300 ft.)
stop the vehicle and re-check the tightness and fit of the traction
chain on the tire. Re-tighten the chain if necessary.
Demounting
Unhook the depositing hook.
1
Open tension lever and loosen tension chain.
2
Loosen closing hook (starting on the inside of the wheel).
3
Pull chain off of the wheel.
Care instructions
Make sure that the chains are dried quickly after each use. Dirty
chains should be rinsed in hot water and then dried. Badly rusted
chains should be re-galvanised.
Adjustment
For worn tires, the fit of the chains
can be improved by shortening
the inside chain. Distribute
shortening intervals regularly – after
shortening, the various inside chain
sections should ideally have the same length.
Repair
Regular inspection: Turn the chains when one side of the links is
worn down by 40 % of the wire diameter. For repairs, please contact
your retailer. Please refer to the vehicle manufacturer information
and the enclosed instructions and warnings.
