Slip to the right if you want to strike in concrete
(striker) of to the left if you want to strike wood
or metal.
NEVER: use the rotating inverter neither the striker switch with the driller running
since it may cause the gears breaks with the high speed of the tool. Wait until the
mandrel completely stops to realize the wished change.
Before operating
the impact drill
Always be sure you have a firm footing. Put the driller over a surface before plug into an
inlet.
1. Store the mandrel key attached to the tool or in the box.
2. Connect the key in one of the three holes of the mandrel. Turn anticlockwise to open
the clamps of the mandrel. These clamps keep the drill bit centered.
3. Put the drill bit between the open clamps until stop in the bottom of the mandrel.
4. Hold the back of the mandrel firmly. Close the clamps until these assure firmly the
drill bit. Assure with a squeeze turning the key clockwise.
5. Once the mandrel and the drill bit are prepared, check that the switch is in the OFF
position and in the rotating side to right. After that you can plug the driller to the inlet
and operate.
