13. [MIDI OUT] Connector
Use a fi ve-pin MIDI cable to connect the MIDI
OUT of the CONTROLPAD64 to the MIDI IN of
an external device.
14. [MIDI IN] Connector
Use a fi ve-pin MIDI cable to connect the MIDI
OUT of an external MIDI device to the MIDI IN
of the CONTROLPAD64.
15. DC 5V
5V power input.

3.1.2 The pads/preset buttons

The CONTROLPAD64 has 64 high-quality, backlit
performance pads. They can be easily assigned
as pads, MIDI CC buttons or program change
switches. The pads are all pressure and
velocity sensitive.

3.1.3 Parameter control buttons

These buttons transmit control change messages.
The 8 buttons can be assigned to control any
editable parameter on the selected device. Each
button can be used to send continuous control data
to a desktop audio workstation or external MIDI
device.
16. [OFF/ON] button
Turns power off/on.
17. Full-sized USB connector
Connect the CONTROLPAD64 to your
computer with the supplied USB cable via this
port.
