3. Lay out the poles and assemble them. Caution: pay attention to the correct
positioning of the pole connectors. The long poles point downwards (a)
and the short poles point upwards. The cross pole lies over the ridge pole (a1).
4. Insert the pole ends into the corresponding sockets (with the inner and
outer socket one on top of the other). Tense the poles (b).
assembly of the outer tent only: insert the pole ends into the sockets of
the outer tent and tense the poles (b1). Continue with point 5.
assembly of the inner tent only: insert the pole ends into the sockets
of the inner tent and tense the poles (b2). Starting in the centre, clip the
inner tent onto the poles (b3).
5. Push the tent cover onto the connectors and connect at the centre, front
and back with the pegs (C).
6. Starting from the middle place the cords over the ridge pole and hook
over the loop below. Then, moving from above to below, proceed to do
the same with the other poles (D). Please note: the tension in the cords can
be altered once the tent is erected (D1).
7. Anchor the base with tent pegs. The anchoring point can be varied by
altering the length of the cord (E).
8. Anchor the porch and, if necessary, use guy ropes. Please note: It is best to
wrap the webbings of the guy ropes around the poles (f).
TakE Down – gEnEral inSTrUCTionS:
• Remove everything from the tent's interior.
• Freestanding tents can be gently shaken out to remove leaves, sand, and
other debris.
• Turn the tent over with floor facing upward and allow it to dry a bit longer.
• If it's not possible to dry the tent completely before packing it, this should
be done within 12 hours to prevent the risk of mold and mildew growth.
• As in the tent set up, never pull the poles out of the pole sleeves; rather
push them through.
• When storing a tent in its stuff sack, make sure that stakes and poles don't
press against the tent fabric and damage it.
• Before taking down your tent, close all zips and roll up the guy lines.
That way you won't have to untangle them when it comes time to set the
tent up again, and pitching is that much easier.
