INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY
Cylinder valve installation place:
•
Fix the cylinder in his correct support to carry out the mounting and adjust
the cylinder valve.
• Check the threads to verify is clean and underformerd.
• Apply over the cylinder valve thread 6 turns of Teflon® in tight way, apply
a few layer of Loctite 680®.
• Before thread the valve to the cylinder put the rubber bushing between the
cylinder and the valve after that thread the valve with a 19 to 21 kgm
torque using the special wrench for this valve.
• Minimize the pipe distance between the refueling valve and the cylinder
valve.
• If the valve is located in the trunk the vent hose must be installed, his
function is vent possible leaks.
INSTALLATION CONTROL

Once the mounting was done, a pneumatic test should be done using inert
gas, starting with a pressure of 150 bar, and no less than 60 bar to check
leakage in connections, with cylinder valve closed. Then should be
checked with refuelling pressure (200 bar).
PERIODICAL CONTROLS
During the annual revision, the conversion shop should be check the
following items:
• No damages in any of the cylinder valve components.
• Pressure relief devices:
- Burst disc + Fusible material
- Excess flow valve
• Check of valves and piping montage. Damage elements should be
replaced by new original parts.
• As last, a pneumatic test with CNG will be done al 200 bar, to check
leakage in connections.
