If your choice is solution B follow these instructions:
6) Fit the roof rack to the vehicle roof with at least 3 people's help.
UPRACKS aluminum roof racks are extremely robust and light but the overall weight including nuts and bolts, legs and
accessories might exceed 30 Kg.
For your own safety and to avoid damages to the vehicle body, always carry out the procedure with someone's help.
8) After you have checked the correct positioning, complete fitting and permanently tighten the 3 bolts attaching the
roof rack to the leg.

7) After you have positioned the roof rack on the roof, slide legs for symmetrical ali-
gnment heightwise and depthwise.
Make sure the roof rack is well-aligned and then permanently lock legs to the gutter rail
by means of the proper steel plate by tightening the Allan screw.
Don't forget to use the rubber pads provided, which should be placed into the steel plate
and between the gutter rail and the leg!
If you do not wish to fit the single leg on the single axle
line of the crosspiece, you can use the especially designed
optional adapter (part number 63-FEST) which allows the
leg to be fitted into the roof rack frame. The leg is also
simultaneously attached to the perimeter frame so that it
rests more evenly against the roof rack. The two pictures
illustrate fitting. Sold as a pair with respective nuts and
bolts.
3B) Insert just one rectangular bolt in the crosspiece;
the other two should go into the slot of the outer frame.
Attach the leg by the proper bolts without tightening. All
nuts and bolts should be permanently tightened only after
the roof rack has been mounted and aligned.
4) For extreme off-road use, it is also possible to lock
the leg further by a through bolt by drilling a hole in the
crosspiece (marked by an arrow in the picture).
This operation should be carried out only after the roof
rack has been mounted and aligned to the roof.
NO bolts are provided for this application. The roof rack's
owner should carry out drilling and attachment operations
with its own suitable equipment.
5) In order to remove rectangular nuts from the various
slots, a proper magnet is provided which will facilitate this
operation.
9) Fit the 3 black rubber strips to the front frame
to reduce roof rack noise.
Each rubber strip should be press-fitted on the
top, bottom and side of the outer profile of the
roof rack.
