INSTRUCTIONS FOR QUARTERLY MAINTENANCE and a POWER OUTAGE
Special Note: Complete this process only if your unit has reached room temperature. Failure to complete this maintenance will result in your unit
not operating properly and could cause the handheld modules to become lodged in place.
1. Turn unit off (Model Shown: CT-CT1000)
3. Using the double sided swab
5. Remove lid and reservoir cup from unit and discard old
solution and refill.
7. Turn unit on. System will be ready for use in
approximately 90 minutes. Test handheld modules (pens) for
readiness using the temperature indicator.
For a Power Surge: Refer to page (4) four of the Operator's Manual. We recommend using a line surge protector to protect your investment.
REFER TO PAGE (8) EIGHT OF THE OPERATOR'S MANUAL FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON MAINTENANCE.
2. After unit has reached room temperature, approximately 8
hours, remove handheld modules from the chilling wells
4. Remove all reservoir solution and moisture from chilling
wells. Wells should be completely dry.
6. Dry all handheld modules with cotton towel. Place one
full Pipette of reservoir solution in each chilling well. Insert
one pen of choice into each chilling well. Place remaining 3
pens in the holding wells.
Periodically remove side grill and wipe out inside of unit.
