tools, equipment and other similar materials. Any
modification made to or unintended use of the Bed Box
could create a hazardous condition that WILL cause
death or serious personal injury

Personal Safety

DO NOT use to transport people,
animals, flammable/combustible
liquids or flammable/combustible gases, corrosives or
other harmful chemicals. Do not use the Bed Box for
any other application than it is designed for. Death or
severe personal injury WILL result.
Prior to drilling, check underneath
vehicle to make sure there is nothing
below the holes, such as electrical wiring, hoses, fuel
tank, fuel lines, brake lines, mufflers, spare tire, or
other important parts which could be damaged by
drilling. Contact with electrical wiring, hoses, fuel tank,
fuel lines, brake lines, mufflers, spare tire, or other
important parts COULD result in death or serious injury.
DO NOT work underneath the
Bed Box while it is in the open
position.
DO NOT let children play on the Bed
Box. Keep children away when
loading the Bed Box.
DO NOT climb, sit or stand on the
Bed Box at any time. Death or severe
personal injury MAY result.
Installation requires 2
people and heavy lifting.
Bed Box Use and Care
It is the owner's responsibility to
secure the Bed Box to a base that will
provide safe and reliable operation.
Secure Load. Conduct pre-trip
inspection (and during fuel and rest
stops) to verify that the load is secure. Use tie-down
straps rated higher than the weight of the cargo. Place
straps so they pull against each other when tightening.
This will help ensure that the equipment or load is
stabilized to prevent both sideways and front to rear
movement. Different configuration of equipment or
loads will necessitate different tie down points. Some
study will be needed to properly meet this requirement.
Ensure that all pins, latches, gates and ramps are in
place and secured. Please check with local authorities
to be sure you are in compliance. Failure to secure load
may cause the cargo to separate from the Bed Box
during transport, which COULD result in personal injury
or even death.
Do not use the unit while the vehicle
is in motion. The unit must be closed
and locked during any vehicle movement. The vehicle
must be parked on level ground before unlocking and
extending the unit.
Check state laws regarding 'secured'
loads.
DO NOT carry loads wider than your vehicle or deeper

than the Bed Box.
All loads on top of the Bed Box should be secured down
s
when the vehicle is in operation. Heavy and/or large
loads should ALWAYS be secured to the vehicle.
ALWAYS make sure drawers are locked in the closed
s
position and the tailgate is shut (if applicable) prior to
driving your vehicle.
Check security of cargo at all fuel and rest stops.

Drive slowly on rough terrain, severe bumps can damage
s
your vehicle, Bed Box and cargo.
Only operate drawers when the vehicle is level.

No one should ever be under the drawers during
s
operation.
DO NOT load more weight than the Bed Box is rated.

DO NOT cut, drill, weld or modify the Bed Box.

Service
When servicing the Bed Box, use only identical
s
replacement parts. Use only authorized parts.
