Charging
Charge miniFumpa by connecting the supplied USB
cable to the USB Charge Port. Connect the other
end of the USB cable to a PC or USB wall charger
(not supplied). The ON/OFF button will glow red,
indicating that miniFumpa is connected to the
charger. The ON/OFF button will stop glowing red
when the battery is fully charged.
Fully charge miniFumpa before its first
use. It takes about 1 hour to fully charge
the unit, depending on the charger used.
Do not use cheap, counterfeit wall
chargers to charge your pump!
Counterfeit chargers are readily
available from sites such as Amazon
and eBay and can damage your pump,
as well as being a fire risk!
Do not operate miniFumpa while it is
connected to a charger. Doing so can
damage the battery! Always disconnect
the USB charge cable before use.
When charging, never leave
miniFumpa unattended.
miniFumpa may get warm during
charging, which is acceptable.
Connecting the unit to a tyre
miniFumpa has been designed so that the Nozzle
can be easily connected to a tyre for inflation. Turn
miniFumpa upside down (refer Figure 2) and push
miniFumpa firmly down onto the tyre's valve via the
Nozzle.
The Nozzle accepts Presta valves only (Figure 3).
The nozzle's seal will initially feel tight
around the valve. Over time, the seal will
soften.
miniFumpa is designed to be held onto
the valve during tyre inflation.
Turning the unit on/off
Press the ON/OFF button for at least 2 seconds to
start pumping. Press the button again to turn
miniFumpa off.
The table below shows approximate pump up times
of different sized road bike tyres when pumping
from flat.
After pumping up a tyre, rest miniFumpa for 5-10
minutes. The unit will become warm after use.
