Description of the electrical appliance

This section contains information for understanding the electrical device.

General description

The LuftLicht measures the carbon dioxide (CO2) content in the ambient air via an
integrated NDIR measuring sensor. The current CO2 content is displayed in
different color levels via the light cone and the built-in LEDs. The LuftLicht
consists of a micro-USB power supply, a two-part housing, a circuit board with all
electronic components (microcontroller, LEDs, CO2 sensor, etc.) and a screw.
The LuftLicht is intended for measuring CO2 in a room. To use, connect the
included power adapter to the micro-USB port on the device and place it at least
1.5 meters away from people. The device should be exposed to fresh air once a
week. Extensive ventilation is sufficient for this purpose. Depending on the CO2
concentration, the device will light up green (up to 1000ppm), yellow (between
1000 ppm and 2000 ppm) or red (above 2000 ppm).
If required, a Kensington lock can be attached to the side of the device as theft
protection.
