Maintenance Instructions

To ensure performance in accordance with this document, the following routine maintenance checks should be undertaken
at intervals of not more than one month:
Inspect and operate the emergency exit device to ensure that all components are in a satisfactory working condition.
Using a force gauge, measure and record the operating forces to release the exit device. Ensure that the keeper(s) is (are)
free from obstruction. Check that the emergency exit device is lubricated in accordance with the producer's instructions.
Check that no additional locking devices have been added to the door since its original installation. Check periodically
that all components of the system are still correct in accordance with the list of approved components originally supplied
with the system. Check periodically that the operating element is correctly tightened and, using a force gauge, measure
operating forces recorded when originally installed.
Recommended lubricant: CASTROL OPTIMOL PASTE WHITE SPRAY or equivalent.
Blocking of the bar:
This function is important when it is necessary to maintain the door open without using the lock. To do this, just use the
key of the locking system as following:
1-
Insert the key into the lock.
2-
Press the bar completely and turn the key. Stop making pressure, the bar remains locked down holding the latch
bolt. The key cannot be removed in this position.
To unlock, press the bar again and then turn the key back to its initial position.
3-
Remove the key to allow the bar to work normally.
4-
Solving mounting problems:
To ensure correct operation of the device and the latch full retraction, the guiding rollers must be positioned at the top,
as on point 5.
If they are down that means that the distance L

Measure the distance L on door and check the difference (step 2).
If the measure is inferior the tube and the sealing must be cut of the difference.
