3. INDICATIONS:
The purpose of the mechanized component is the rehabilitation of any injured finger,
strengthening it and improving mobility, through flexion and extension exercises with resistance
opposition.

Flexion: Bend and straighten the injured finger (s), flexion constitutes most of the
movement of the finger joints (See fig. A)

The Extension: Raise the injured finger (s), the extension corrects the rigidity of the
contracture of the wrist extensor muscle in patients with dysfunction of the finger and
wrist (See fig B)

To make a correct flexion or extension of the finger joints, the wrist must be placed and
kept in a neutral position.
Some injuries that can be treated with this equipment:
•
Ligament injuries (skier's thumb)
•
Tendinitis (irritation of the tendons)
•
Injuries to the tendons (hammer toe)
•
Joint injuries (sprains)
•
Strains (muscle pulls)
•
Dislocations
4. WARRANTY:
ORTOTECSA, S.L. will provide a warranty for two years against any manufacturing defect from
the date of purchase. Our guarantee includes the repair, replacement or exchange of the product
and / or components, including labor carried out in our facilities. To take effect this warranty, the
purchase invoice is required.
This warranty will not be valid under the following conditions:
• When the use, care and operation of the product have not been carried out in accordance with the
instructions indicated.
• When the product has been used beyond its capacity, mistreated, beaten, exposed to humidity,
attacked by any liquid or corrosive substance, as well as any other fault attributable to the
consumer.
• When the product has been disassembled, modified or repaired by unauthorized persons.
