Functioning
The COMPTEST® device makes it possible to quantitatively measure the internal compression
of a wind musical instrument.
Instructions
1.- Connect the included hose to the COMPTEST® through the connector (7). Do not force it in,
but apply pressure while twisting the connector side to side until it is fully inserted into the
COMPTEST®.
2.- Connect the COMPTEST® to a 5V power supply via the micro USB connector on the side (6)
or insert the batteries in the compartment designed for them (8)
3.- Press the ON / OFF button (2) for at least 3 seconds to turn on the COMPTEST®. At that
moment the device will start working and the reading can be seen on the screen. Adjust the
reference measurement (set to 10 InH2O) using the rotary knob of the regulator (5).
4.- To check its correct connection, block the connection tube from the instrument to the
COMPTEST®. The reading on the display (1) should be 0.0.
You can change units of measure at any time by pressing the UNITS button (3).
You can record the maximum and minimum of the measurement over a period of time using
the record function. To activate this option, press the REC button (4) with the COMPTEST® on.
The text REC will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen. The COMPTEST® will
