3. ASSEMBLY
Installing/changing the batteries
You are advised to use alkaline-manganese batteries for the operation of the measurer.
To open the cover of the battery housing G, press the locking device G and remove the
cover from the battery housing. Insert the batteries adhering to the polarity.
The battery symbol is displayed on the screen with three bars when the batteries are
new, replace the batteries when the symbol only displays one bar.
Always change all the batteries at the same time. Only use batteries of the same brand
and the same capacity.
Remove the batteries from the measurer if the device is not used for a prolonged
rior
period. If stored for a long time, the batteries may corrode and discharge and may
p
damage the product.
