Installation instructions – sensor, intake manifold pressure V40-72-0383
Power loss in the Opel Astra H (with turbocharger)
If there are complaints concerning these vehicles, that the engine judders, does not
produce enough power and, in addition, the engine control light goes on and the error
code P1106 appears, this can possibly be caused by a defective or incorrectly installed
intake manifold pressure sensor.
Tips for remedial action
Check the manufacturer number of the sensor. If the manufacturer number is

261002137, the inlet manifold pressure sensor must be replaced.
Replace the defective component by the sensor V40-72-0383 of the quality
•
brand VEMO.
General information regarding intake manifold pressure sensors:
If the sensor voltage increases, the injection time is reduced to avoid over-enrichment of
the mixture.
