GB
Equipment handled during work on the ladder must be light and easy to handle.
It is required to avoid tasks which imply lateral load on the ladder, such as drilling hard materials (e.g. bricks or concrete).
Hold the ladder during work or take additional safety measures, if it is not possible to hold the ladder.
Unfolding and folding the ladder
Lay the folded ladder on a flat, level and clean surface of the size, which would allow to fully unfold the ladder.
Unfold the ladder to the desired configuration. If the hinge has been blocked, you must completely lift both interlocking levers (V),
which will unlock the hinge, then rotate the ladder segment towards the desired position, until the both hinges are blocked (VI).
The hinges automatically lock during segment unfolding, you must check whether the both locks worked properly and whether
they are in the position marked by the symbol of a closed padlock.
It is forbiddent to use a ladder with segments, which hinges have not been blocked.
ATTENTION! The ladder can be used only in configurations which are visible in the illustration (VII), any other uses and methods
of unfolding are prohibited.
In case of ladder application in the eaves position it is forbidden to stand on the horizontal part of the ladder.
When the ladder is used in the platform and stairs position, you should use it only with the platforms catalog number 17705, which
are available separately. It is forbidden to use other platforms or use the ladder in this position without platforms. Platforms 17705
are intended only for the ladder catalog number 17704. When you use them with other ladders or in another way, the manufacturer
does not ensure the safety of their use.
Platforms must be put on the horizontal part of the ladder in such a way that the latches and angled enedings lean on the ladder
spokes (VIII) and protect the platforms against slipping. During usage or transport the latches can be displaced, in this case they
should be fold back into the position which allows for blocking of platforms on the horizontal part of the ladder.
ATTENTION! It is forbidden to use the platforms in other way than it is allowed in the manual.
Platforms should not be placed on other parts of the ladder than horizontal parts, in a different way than between stiles and they
should be based on the spokes. If you are using more than one platform, they should be arranged so that the gap between the
platform and the ladder stiles is not greater than 5 mm, and the free end of the platform extends not more than 25 mm beyond the
degree ladder. If you are using a platform ladder and stepladder, the entire length of the horizontal part of ladder, counted between
extreme ladder spokes must be covered by platforms.
After the work is finished, you should put a ladder, start its maintenance, and then fold it.
TRANSPORT, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Repair and maintenance should be carried out by a competent person and be in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Ladders should be stored in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer.
It is recommended that to store the ladder in folded position. It is impossible to block the hinges in this position. Folded ladder can
only be stored or transported, it is prohibited to use folded ladder in some other way, such as a stand or a support.
Repairs of the ladder can be carried out in the manufacturer's authorized service. Ladders should not be repaired or modified (for
example prolonged) independently.
You should keep ladders in place that protects them from the effects of weather conditions on a ladder. All the elements of the
ladder must be kept clean, especially you should care for the cleanliness of vertical ladder elements, because their contamination
can make the folding or unfolding of ladder to be difficult or impossible. For cleaning you should use water with a non aggressive
detergent. Before folding the ladder carefully dry it.
Take care of the tidiness of ladder feet, this will prevent the ladder slipping during operation.
Hinges and connectors must be maintained using the runny machine oil or lubricant oil (eg. WD-40).
Prior to its transport the ladder must be folded and protected against its spontaneous unfolding, for example, by using a belt. Only
folded ladder should be transported.
