front edge of the bracket assembly onto the
front rail (Ha-1) of the stand.
– Lower the bracket assembly to allow the rear
edge of the bracket to seat fully over the rear
rail.
– Lock the brackets in position by pressing
the mounting bracket locking levers to the
LOCKED position.
NOTE
Continue to hold the mounting bracket
assembly with one hand until both levers are
securely locked.
– Check the position and adjust, if necessary,
to make sure that the weight of the saw is
evenly balanced over the rails.
– Ensure that the saw is fully seated and locked
in position, then use a 6mm hex wrench to
securely tighten the four hexagon socket
head bolts holding the saw to the saw the
mounting brackets.
To remove saw from stand:
– Pull the mounting bracket locking levers to
the UNLOCKED position to unlock the saw
and the mounting bracket assembly.
– Lift the saw away from the rear rail of the
stand to disengage.
– With the assembly tilted slightly toward
you, lift the front part of the assembly to
disengage it from the front rail of the stand.
Adjustments
Adjusting the Tightness of Saw
Mounting Bracket (see figure I)
– Use a 11mm open end wrench to slightly
loosen the locking nut (I-1).
– Turn the adjustable screw (I-2) with a
Phillips screwdriver. Rotate clockwise if the
bracket assembly needs to be tightened or
counterclockwise if the assembly needs to
be loosened.
– Install the bracket on the Miter Saw Stand
rails and lock the bracket locking lever to
check the adjustment
– When the correct position is achieved,
use the wrench to tighten the locking nut
securely.
– Repeat with the second mounting bracket.
Leveling the Stand (see figure J)
– Loosen the top locking nut (14) and adjust
the height of the adjustable foot (15) by
screwing the threaded shaft clockwise to
raise the foot or counterclockwise to lower
the foot.
– Securely retighten top locking nut.
Stand Compatibility Test
With the Miter Saw mounted to the Stand:
– Lower the Miter Saw head to the full cut
position and release the Miter Saw head
from the full cut position so that the Miter
Saw head raises automatically. The Miter Saw
and Stand should not tip over.
– Check for fit and function. There should be
no interference of the Miter Saw throughout
the full range of miter, bevel and compound
cut.
– The work support must be able to be
adjusted so that it is level with the tabletop
of the Miter Saw.
Operation
Using the Extension Rails (see
figure K)
Use the extension rails (4) when working with
long workpiece.
To extend the rails:
– Loosen the extension rail locking knob (7).
– Extend the rail (4) to the desired position.
– Tighten the locking knob.
Adjusting Work Support Height
(see figure L)
– Loosen the work support locking knob (1)
located at the end of the extension rail, and
raise the work height support (6) so it is level
with the tabletop of the attached Miter Saw.
– Retighten the work support locking knob
and repeat on opposite side.
Using the Work Stop (see figure M)
Raise the work stops (3) whenever you need
to make repetitive cuts of the same length. To
avoid a greater risk of binding or pinching, do
not use both work stops at the same time.
To raise the work stops:
– Loosen the work stop locking knob (2).
– Raise the work stop (3) to the desired
position.
– Tighten the locking knob.
