ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Protect the appliance against hu-
midity, dripping or splashing water:
There is a risk of an electric shock.
• If liquids enter into the appliance
base, immediately pull out the power
plug. Before putting into operation
again, get the appliance checked.
• Do not bring the appliance in
service if the appliance or the con-
necting cable has visible damages
or if the appliance base has been
dropped prior to this.
• Connect the mains plug only to
the properly installed, easily acces-
sible socket with earthing contact,
voltage of which corresponds to the
specifications on the data plate. The
socket must also be easily accessible
after connecting.
• Please note that the connecting
cable cannot be damaged due to
sharp edges or hot points. Do not
wind the connecting cable around
the appliance.
• The appliance is not completely
disconnected from the mains even
after switching off. In order to do this,
pull out the mains plug.

• While using the appliance, please
note that the connecting cable is
not jammed or pinched.
• In order to pull out the mains plug
from the socket, always unplug it and
never pull the cable.
• Pull out the mains plug from the
socket if a disturbance occurs, if
you are not using the electric kettle,
before you clean the electric kettle
and during electrical storm.
• In order to prevent the risks, do
not carry out any changes in the
appliance.
