5. GUARANTEE

5.1 Guarantee terms

Emmeti Spa is responsible for the correct execution and quality of the
used materials.
The Guarantee is valid for a period of 2 years on the air curtains.
The Guarantee period will commence on the date of installation validated
by the staff which installed it and is effective from the date of installation;
given that the product has been bought within 12 months from the
day of purchase from Emmeti Spa, in this case, the Guarantee must
be validated by the seller.
The certificate must be marked by the stamp of the staff that carried out
the installation.
During that period, Emmeti Spa undertakes to repair and/or substitute
free of charge, those parts which to its own exclusive judgement would
result damaged.
The above mentioned services will not change the date of validity of the
Guarantee.
The Guarantee will not cover for:
1 - Damages caused by wrong installation of the equipment or caused by
the inadequacy of the refrigerator and/or electrical system.
2 - Faults resulting from negligence, lack of care, inactivity or repairs
carried out by non-authorised third parties.
3 - The parts normally subjected to wear or that have a shorter life span
than that indicated in the above-mentioned Guarantee. For instance:
external panels, plastic parts, electrical wires etc.
In order for the Guarantee to be effective it is necessary to fill in all the
parts of the certificate in a clearly readable manner and send part "C" in
a closed envelope to Emmeti Spa within ten days from the installation
day.
Should the certificate not be sent within 10 days of the installation/
start up of the equipment, or should the certificate not be completed in all
of its part (particularly the date of installation/start up) the Guarantee
will expire.
The same applies in the case the staff of the Customer Service Centre or of
Emmeti Spa during a check-up, find out that the date of installation/start
up is not the true one (which can be detected from specific data and other
elements in the equipment).
The present certificate must be presented to the staff of the Qualified
Customer Service Centre, together with a document of purchase proof
(invoice or docket), every time the client ask for an intervention during the
guarantee period.
Emmeti Spa will not be liable for damages caused to persons or things
resulting from damage or forced non-utilisation of the equipment.
The Guarantee will be valid only if the following conditions apply:
1 - The equipment must be installed by qualified personnel.
2 - The instalment must be done according to the Laws of the territory
and according to the directions given by the "Instruction booklet".
3 - Eventual damage repair will be carried out only by the personnel of
Qualified Customer Service Centres.
4 - The Guarantee certificate must be completed in all of its parts in
clearly readable writing.
5 - The Guarantee certificate must be posted to Emmeti Spa within 10
days from purchase.
Emmeti Spa grants no other Guarantees apart from the above-mentioned
ones.
Should any controversy arise, the parties will accept as Court of
Jurisdiction Treviso - Italy.
