6. Operation

Warning
• Position yourself on a dry, non-conductive surface. Risk of electric shock!
• Make sure that your hands are dry! There is a risk of electric shock!
• The volume difuser [1], the professional nozzle [11] and the hair dryer may become very hot de-
pending on the switch setting and period of use – risk of burns and ire!
• Do not touch the volume difuser [1] and the professional nozzle [11] during use, as they will heat
up. Risk of ire and burns!
• Place the hair dryer on non-lammable surfaces only. Risk of ire!
• Ensure that no hair can be directly sucked into the device. Risk of ire!

Important

• Do not jam the mains cable [10] in drawers or doors, for example.
• Untangle the mains cable [10] if it is twisted.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable [10] and do not pull or route it over/on sharp, pointed
objects or hot surfaces. Damaged or tangled mains cables increase the risk of electric shock!
Note
A slight odour initially develops after switching on the device for the irst time. This is normal and not
harmful to your health. Allow the device to run for three to ive minutes. After that you can use the
device as normal.
Drying the hair
> Switch on the hair dryer with fan and temperature button:
1 Gentle airlow
2 Strong airlow
> Select the heat level:
1 Low temperature
2 Medium temperature
3 High temperature
> Select your ion intensity
0 No ions for particularly thin hair
1 Low level of ions for ine hair
2 High level of ions for relatively thick and frizzy hair
> Dry and/or style your hair as you wish.
