The Carl Zeiss ZF-lenses are designed for use with Nikon SLR
cameras with the standard Nikon F (AI-S) bayonet and are
completely compatible with all cameras using the F mount
over the last 40 years. Standard filters may be threaded onto
the lens. Our accessory shades (included) guarantee maximum
efficiency while the bayonet fitting allows quick, secure, and
accurate mounting.
The Carl Zeiss ZS-lenses are designed for use on cameras with
M 42 "Universal" thread mount (also a Carl Zeiss development).
Using widely available M 42 adapters, these lenses also make
the superior Carl Zeiss image quality available to many other
SLR cameras.
