Attention
Due to the rugged construction, components can be very heavy. Keep this in mind when carrying out any
repairs or maintenance work that may be required.
Attention
Leaking hydraulic oil and lubricants cause slippery surfaces. Collect any escaping hydraulic oil in suitable
containers and dispose of it correctly. Clean slippery surfaces prior to using the equipment.
General instructions
The following must be observed at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of the equipment:
•
Only trained and authorised persons are allowed to operate the lift table.
•
Before starting work, check all controls and moving parts for freedom of movement. If there is any damage
or there are any other causes for concern, the lift table must only be used again once it has been repaired
correctly.
•
Work on the lift table must be stopped immediately if errors or malfunctions occur, for example, if the lifting
table loses hydraulic oil. Secure the lifting table against unauthorised use and have it repaired by
appropriately trained service personnel.
•
When loading the lift table with goods, in particular large/bulky goods, ensure that the table is loaded evenly
and is not overloaded.
•
Always observe the centre of gravity of the load. Always make sure that the stability of the lift table is
guaranteed when working.
•
If there are additional accessories or other subsequently installed features on the equipment, also those of
other manufacturers, attention must be paid to the corresponding operating manual of the respective
manufacturer.
•
All warranty claims and the declaration of conformity will become invalid if technical changes have been
made to the equipment.
•
Always accelerate and brake slowly. If there are abrupt movements when moving off and braking, loaded
goods can become unstable, fall, slide or roll down, be damaged and endanger you or bystanders.
•
Only operate the lift table from the workstation provided in front of the handle. Avoid the danger zone below
the plate in the area of the scissors at all times when working with the equipment. Non-observance can lead
to serious injuries caused by the raised load.
•
Improper use of the lift table (other than described here) can lead to accidents or injuries. Always adhere to
the method of operation specified.
•
It is prohibited to give a lift to persons or allow them persons to stand on the plate.
•
Do not touch moving parts. Only operate the lift table by means of the horizontal handle and the controls.
Ensure that your fingers do not enter the gap above the lowering lever when moving the lift table.
•
When moving the lift table, always take note of the mass that is located at a height and is in motion. In case
of emergency, it will be necessary to brake this weight by sheer muscle strength. The higher the additional
load, the longer the braking distance. Do not brake the lift table too abruptly, to prevent the loaded goods
from becoming unstable. Always drive slowly and carefully.
