2. Installing the battery.
Insert the battery aligning the gold contacts on the
battery with the battery terminals (gold contacts) in
the battery compartment. Then push down the top
of the battery until it snaps into place.

To remove the battery.
Turn the power off. (If the power is left on, there is a
chance you could lose the stored telephone numbers
and messages.) Press the battery release latches
and open the battery . Then remove the battery.
