Connection via Voice Alarm Station
You can connect the IO extender via a VAS (Voice Alarm
Station) too. Connect the VAS to the Extender connector
(refer to Subs. 2.7 of the VAS Manual).
Connect the IO extender to the VAS switch. Put the
connector on the Alarm IN/Program jumper (see Fig.).
• Disconnect LiftIP from the power supply (DC 10–30 V or PoE) while mounting the IO extender.
• Make sure that all the pins are put properly in the connector while mounting the IO extender.
• Keep the correct connector wiring (yellow wire – see Fig.).
• A wrong wiring may lead to the module damage.
