REPLACING THE NAIL STRAIGHTENER

1. Remove o-rings (76) from nail straightener fixed pin (75).
2. Remove fixed pin (75).
3. Remove nail straightener (74), nail straightener spring (67) and
cushion (120).

4. Install new cushion (120) so that its flat side rests inside recessed hole

in the nailer.
5. Install new nail straightener spring (67) over tapered end of

cushion (120).

6. Install new nail straightener (74), making sure the nail straightener
spring (67) rests inside recessed hole on the nail straightener (74).
7. Install new fixed pin (75).
8. Apply a light coat of grease to new o-rings (76); install one on each side
of fixed pin (75).
