• Do not operate the coffee maker with a da-
maged cord or plug, or in abnormal state.
If its main cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, the Customer
Support Service or a qualified person.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or
knobs.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and
injury to persons do not immerse the cord
or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Remove the plug from the electrical ou-
tlet before cleaning the coffee maker and
when not in use. Allow the coffee maker
to cool down completely before taking off,
attaching components or before cleaning.
• The use of accessory is not recommended
by the coffee maker manufacturer. It may
result in fire, electric shock and/or person
injury.
• The carafe is designed for use with this co-
ffee maker. It cannot be used on a cooker.
• Do not clean the coffee maker with cle-
ansers, steel wool pads or other abrasive
materials.
• Do not hang the power cord over the edge
of table or counter or let it touch hot surfa-
ces.

• Do not place the coffee maker on hot sur-
face or beside fire in order to avoid it being
damaged.
• To disconnect it , remove the plug from the
electrical outlet. Always hold the plug, but
never pull the cord.
• Close supervision is necessary when your
coffee maker is being used near children.
• Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
• To disconnect it, turn any control to "OFF"
and then remove the plug from the electri-
cal outlet.
• Do not let the coffee maker operate without
water.
• Never use the coffee maker if the carafe
has any signs of cracks. Only use the ca-

the carafe is very fragile.
• Do not set a hot carafe on a wet or cold
surface.
• Do not use a cracked carafe or a carafe
having a loose or weakened handle.
• Scalding may occur if the cover is removed
during the brewing cycles.
• Some parts of the coffee maker become
hot when operated, so do not touch with
your bare hand; use handles or knobs only.
