Correct techniques of use and braking

Hold the handlebar firmly by the grips with both hands and afterwards put a foot on
the deck while the other foot remains on the ground in order to stay in equilibrium in
a secure way and avoid any fall or accident.
The foot resting on the ground apart from guarantee the equilibrium staying
stopped, is the one that gives the movement to the scooter, so the rider should drive
with that foot to make ride the scooter. Controlling the strength and the driving foot
movement frequency you could give more or less speed to the scooter.
Using the handlebar, making slight and controlled movements you can turn left or
right. In case of making turns we recommend you to slightly incline towards the
direction of the turn, this will help you to trace the curves better.
To reduce the speed or totally braking, the scooter has a brake that acts on the rear
wheel. The brake is activated by the same foot that drives the scooter, once you
wanted to brake or reduce the scooter speed, you should step on the brake situated
on the back part of the deck, over the rear wheel.

According to the pressure exerted on the brake pedal the scooter will reduce its
speed progressively or will stop immediately. On this matter we recommend you to
practice in a clearly area, totally flat and with a uniform surface, clean and dry, so
that you can keep in contact with the braking mechanism in a secure way.
Regarding the use of the brake pedal, you'd better remember the next safety
warnings:
The braking or reducing velocity mechanism will get hot with a continued use.
I
Do not touch it after braking, this should cause damage or injury.
Press the braking pedal before riding the scooter to make sure it works
I
correctly.
Do not use the scooter in pronounced slope rides, given that it should become
I
dangerous. The scooter riders should be careful when riding in those areas. Avoid
excessive speed when riding in a slope. Remember that the continuous use of
the braking system should provoke a failure or a reduction in its effectiveness
caused by warming.
