3. BEFORE USE
1.
Take the product out of the box.
2.
Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
3.
Make sure all the components are included and in good conditions, otherwise,
contact immediately the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
4.
Oil the device's blades before the first use.
4. OPERATION
How to use
1.
Make sure the power switch is in the off position.
2.
Connect the device to a power supply.
3.
Turn on the clipper with the on/off switch.
4.
Trim against hair growth by guiding the flat comb part over the skin.
5.
Avoid clogging the comb with hair by removing and periodically cleaning it.
Installing the comb attachments
1.
Make sure the device is turned OFF before installing or manipulating the blades
or comb attachments.
2.
Select a comb attachment for the desired trimming length.
3.
Hold the comb attachment with its teeth up and firmly slide it onto the bottom
blade of the clipper.
4.
Use the adjusting blade lever (2) when a fine adjustment is needed. (± 0.5 mm)
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Turn off and disconnect the device from the mains supply before cleaning,
maintaining it or assembling or disassembling any of its parts.
•
To clean the attachment, first remove it, brush it with the cleaning brush and
blow out hair clippings from the attachment and the main body of the device.
•
Remove the comb attachments and rinse them under running water. Do not
use hot water.
•
Do not use compressed air, abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners to
clean the product.
•
Do not immerse the appliance's body in water or any other liquid or place it
under running water.
•
Attachments are waterproof; therefore, they can be washed with water if
necessary. Dry them thoroughly before storing or using them again.
•
Clean the trimmer and the attachments after each use with the cleaning brush.
Oiling blades
•
To ensure the correct functioning of the device, it is recommended that you
lightly oil the cutting blade once every few haircuts.
•
Use only light-grade oils as these will not evaporate nor slow down the speed
