Special safety instructions for this device
• Before connecting the plug to the socket, place the device in the liquid to be warmed.
• Note the calf's milk heater's maximum and minimum immersion depth. This is marked on the immersion tube (B2).
• After use, place the calf's milk heater in cold water to evenly cool down the heater.
• Ensure that the bucket or vessel containing the liquid to be heated is placed on a level and stable base in order to prevent the calf's milk
heater from falling over.
• Never operate the calf's milk heater without any liquid.
• The device itself, the liquid being heated and possibly the vessel containing it can become very hot. Burn hazard!
• The calf's milk heater must not be placed on surfaces that burn easily (e.g. straw). Fire hazard!
• The container for the liquid to be heater must be made from a heat-resistant material. Do not use any plastic container not suitable for
such purposes.

6. Before using for the first time

Before first use, clean the surface of the heater thoroughly with lukewarm water.

7. Operating the device

Switching the device on
Connect the plug to the power socket. The display now lights up green. To switch on, press the
you hear a beep. The last target temperature set then appears on the display. After 3 seconds, the display (B1 - Pos. 1) switches from sho-
wing the target temperature to showing the actual temperature. The liquid must now no longer be stirred.
Setting the target temperature
• The device always shows the actual temperature when no setting has been made
• The target temperature can be set to any temperature between +10 °C and max. +90°C in whole-degree increments.
• Repeatedly actuate the

• By holding the
button (B1 - Pos. 2) or

is released again.
• If no buttons are pressed within 3 seconds, the display again switches from showing the target temperature to the actual temperature.
Heating to the set target temperature
After setting the required target temperature, the heating element starts to heat the liquid up. If no different target temperature is set after
the device has been switched on, the last target temperature set is the one to which the liquid will be heated.
The red control light (B1 - Pos. 4) next to the digital display shows when the heating element is heating and active. Red light on -> the hea-
ting element is heating. Red light off -> the heating element is not heating.
When the digits in the display (B1 - Pos. 1) flash and three beeps are heard, this indicates that the target temperature set for the liquid being
heated has been reached.
The device still heats the liquid by a few more °C after the target temperature has been reached in order to ensure the even distribution of
heat throughout the liquid.
The calf's milk heater automatically begins heating up the liquid again if the temperature of the liquid falls below the set target temperature.
Switching the device off
Disconnect the connecting plug from the socket. The last target temperature set is saved.
