Note that it is not possible to confirm the operation of all functions of all

USB devices that are available. Some functions associated with a
specific device might not operate properly.
Before removing a USB device from the dock, click the Safely Remove
■
Hardware and Eject Media icon on the Windows Taskbar, and then
select the USB device that you want to remove.
If your USB device, such as a printer or optical drive, and so on, came
■
with its own AC adaptor, make sure that it is plugged into the device
and a live electrical outlet.
Keep foreign metal objects, such as screws, staples, and paper clips, out
CAUTION
of the USB ports. Foreign metal objects can create a short circuit, which
can cause damage and fire, possibly resulting in serious injury.

The following illustration shows the right side of the dock. For a description
of each component, refer to the accompanying table.

Description
One USB Type-C™ port is provided on the back of
the dock. You can connect the dock to your
computer via this port and the power delivery is
about 65w.
The AC adaptor connects to this jack in order to
power the dock.

Description
A security cable can be attached to this slot and
then connected to a desk or other object to deter
theft of the dock.
